MAH AAC CET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the application form candidates must know the eligibility criteria of MAH AAC CET 2021. The below-listed points to tell about the same:

  • The candidates with Indian Nationality are eligible.
  • Those belonging to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority and notified by the  Maharashtra Government are also eligible.

Maharashtra State Candidature: A Candidate can claim only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature from the table given below:

Type-A

(i) Candidates passing SSC and also HSC or Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor of Science Examination from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State

(ii) Candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/ or is born in Maharashtra;

Type-B

A Candidate who does not fall in Type-A above, but who or whose Father or Mother is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and possess Domicile Certificate.

Type-C

A Candidate who does not fall in either Type-A or Type-B but whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking and who has been posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submission of Application Form for CAP.

Type-D

A Candidate who does not fall in any of the above Type-A, Type B and Type-C but whose Father or Mother is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking.

Type-E

Candidates passing SSC and/or HSC Examination from a recognised institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi.

NRI candidates

The candidate who fulfils the conditions as defined in clause (n) of section 2 of the Act will be eligible under this category.

The Foreign Student Candidates, as defined in clauses by the Indian Government, the Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidate and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are also eligible.

General Knowledge paper will comprise Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only.

It will be compulsory for the candidate seeking admission to Undergraduate Visual Art (Fine Art and Applied Art) degree courses to appear in all the papers.

Applicants will have to bring colours, brushes, pencil, cotton rag, pallets, scales, erasers, and other related materials for drawing with them on the exam day.

Mode of exam

The exam will be conducted in both Offline & Online mode by the Competent Authority. The candidate must appear for all the papers in the Offline & Online sessions of the Entrance Examination. 

MAH AAC CET 2021 Syllabus

Given below is the MAH AAC CET 2021 Syllabus:

Object Drawing Practical: Based on the drawing, sketching, proportions, rendering in lead pencil and overall observation. 

Design Practical:  It will have colouring & finishing skill.

Objective Type Theory: The syllabus will consist of Art, Craft, Design, Colour and Computer graphics/ computer basics

Memory Drawing Practical: Drawing and arranging the sequence

MAH AAC CET 2021 Admit Card

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release the MAH AAC CET 2021 Admit Card on the official website. The candidates are advised to get printout and photo copy of the hall ticket & other important documents as it is mandatory to appear for the exam.

The hall ticket will comprise details like:

  • Candidate's Name
  • Examination centre
  • Timing of Entrance Exam
  • Mode of the exam

The candidates are requested to carry an identity proof along with the hall ticket for verification purpose such as an Aadhaar card, driving license, voter ID, college or university identity card, PAN card, etc.

MAH AAC CET 2021 Result

The conducting body will declare the MAH AAC CET 2021 Result on the official website soon after the exam. The appearing candidates will be able to download the scorecard from the official website. The scorecard will comprise the students’ marks in various papers.
